• In case of mild, moderate and severe hepatic impairment dose reduction is 12.5 mg for Asian ancestry and 25 mg for others.

To treat Chronic Hepatitis C associated with thrombocytopenia take 25 mg elbonix daily. During taking elbonix in treating hepatitis C adjust dose to avoid dose reduction of peginterferon.

For the treatment of severe anaplastic anemia with elbonix, take 150 mg of initial dose as a first line treatment. Take elbonix not more than 6 month to treat anaplastic anemia. Reduce the dose by 50% to treat Asian ancestry.
