• In case of mild, moderate, and severe hepatic impairment, the dose reduction is 12.5 mg for Asian ancestry and 25 mg for others.

To treat Chronic Hepatitis C associated with thrombocytopenia, take 25 mg Elbonix daily. When taking Elbonix in treating hepatitis C, adjust the dose to avoid a dose reduction of peginterferon.

For the treatment of severe anaplastic anemia with elbonix, take 150 mg as an initial dose as a first-line treatment. Take elbonix for not more than 6 months to treat anaplastic anemia. Reduce the dose by 50% to treat Asian ancestry.
